Contents Page

This is my perliminary contects page for my project.
I used these fonts as they are simple and easy to read, at the top of the page the text there is more fancy as it is the main heading on the page to show you what the page actually is,
the other headings text that show for you what is in the magazine is used as it is bold big and simple to read, as it catches your eye upon looking at the page and you would like to read on further information on these the short description i have given under each heading is a small piece of writting in what is going on within our school.

Piliminary Front Cover

This is my front page for my perliminary project, i found it hard to get a good picture as my background after hard work in taking pictures i found that the correct picture i should use is the one of Rob Hall of year 13. after choosing the background picture i thought about a title and i came up with 'Biddulph High School Media Department Magazine' which was nessasary towards the lesson, on the main title i needed it to stand out from the page as i added a golden coloured glow around the whole title.moving on with my front cover we needed to produce information that will be happeneing in the school as the year progresses... 'GREASE THINK PINK and TRIP TO KENYA' were all important to place on the magazine. as they are for charity and the school it self and helpin other schools learning other cultures out in Kenya which i thought would be rather important.

Kerrang's 2nd Contents Page

This contents age background is really simple and just a plain white. There fore this makes everything ele on the page stand off it such as the pictures and the text on this contents page, the pictures show major bands worldwide all showing them in a group and by there facial expressions. some show happy and merry some others show less happy expressions all the pictures are on angle so this looks more professional and formal. the text along side the pictures is simple to read although only to colours used on the text a red and black used theses two colours contrast with one another. the title of each section is in the red and bigger writting fonts, which are also in italics and the descriptions under and in the smalle. The page is quite spread out and things are not to squashed together,

Kerrang Contents Page

This contents i have taken from a 'Kerrang' music magazine is very wel set out as the is many things i am able to comment on, the background colour of black contrasts vastly with the pictures and text. This emphasises wat else is shown on the page, the colours on this contents page has a wide variety as at the top of the page shoiwing a large american city a night all up in lights. This shows how classy it can be, more pictures shown on the page more night lighting shown within america and the picture at the bottom of tha page it shows people in a large group looking to go towards a festival/party. the text is off angle this could show that the magazine is more informal and more fun to read.

Scratch Magazine Cover

The main shot n this magazine is focused on the main photo. Lil Wayne and Dj Khaled showing what they d o best singing and Dj’ing. From the back ground the people on the front cover stand out and “Lil Wayne” is stood more forward to emphasize his size this could reflect on his music life to show he’s a big deal in the music society also with Dj Khaled behind him this could show that help is tended by him to get “Lil Wayne” this magazine structure seems to appeal to the more thuggish/gangster type of people as it has a hip-hop style of fonts etc. matching colours on the fonts blue and white go well on this magazine as it makes them stand off the page to make them look more effective and also easy to read. “UKG THE FIXXERS MANNIE FRESH T-PAIN & AKON” etc, the title of the magazine “SCRATCH” is partially covered bit Lil Wayne’s head this shows this magazine is a powerful and big branded magazine and will sell even if the full title is not being shown. On this magazine only a small section of the title is blocked by Lil Wayne’s head. This magazine’s audience could be a range of people as it looks beneficial to people of all ages.
