1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? my magazine cover is conventional as its looks like a normal magazine and has a title on the front covers pictures as a normal magazine would this gives you the right idea on what type of magazine i have produced. The contents page is conventional as it lets the reader know what is going on within my magazine and my double page spread yhas a short interview that would continue further on in my magazine my magazine is full of bright colours that make things look more powerful off my dark background photos i have used were all taken myself and there all represent people that like the 'rave' type of music. I think my magazine is different as not many magazines like mine are published, bright authentic colours are used as most things have been inverted and have a bright glow around them.
2. How does your media product represent particular social groups? my magazine is gererally set out for young people who are are mainly in to Dance/Trance and Bassline music. the colouring on my magazine can go out to both genders as there are a variety of colours on there, my magazine has good information on the front cover also which would grab the readers eyes if they like the artists on my magazine, but saying that people aof any could could buy my magazine as it is appropriate fdor anybody buy.
3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why? firstly i would publish my magazine online to see waht people thought and if it got good result i would try physicla distribution in a town centre too try and attract my main audience of people to try and reach my target on the market, and if it sucseeded i would try to sell my magazine within shops around the area.
4. Who would be the audience for your media product? my magazine is appropriate for people between the ages of 14-20 as people of these ages go through stages of liking certain types of music it would also go to people this age who like to know about information that is upcoming about there favourite artists and bands live.
5. How did you attract/address your audience? the bright colourings on my magazine would make my magazine stand out from the resat therefore grabbing the publics eye and grabbing there attention. i have used bright pink fonts on my work to make it stand out even more from tha dark background, also with the free poster inside at the top of the front cover this could grab the readers eye again, getting something free from a magazine my magazine BASSLINE would get good attention from the public.
6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing the product?
whilst making my final products i have leanrt how to use macromedia fireworks in a more effective way, such as cuttin things out in better detail and i have also learnt something completely new how to use the website 'Blogger' and create my own blog to put all of my Media studies work on to.
7. Looking back to your preliminary task, what do you feel that you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product? After finishing my final products i have looked back and found that i have picked up on alot of better techniques to make my final product much more effective than my preliminary project i made earlier in the year.
