Analysis On NME Mag Cover


The main shot captures the photo of ‘The Wombats’ casually posing for the front page spread they contrast on there white background that makes the actual band stand out more and it looks more effective. The fonts over the page looks friendly there fore it has a nice presence about it the, font colours contrast also on to the photo and background. The colours show it’s a friendly magazine with just music and news yellow and blue are warming colours. The big NME title stands out mainly as it is large and red, with a white boarder line around it. To make the title stand out more than most other things on the page.
At the top of the page there is a heading in bold font ‘GLASTO’ this shows what’s music festivals have been going on and what bands and solo artists have performed there and gives you feed back from the event it self from eye whiteness reporters. Also around the page there are sub headings shows you recent things that have happened in the music industry ‘569 UK gigs listed’ this shows that just in the UK that music bands are a really popular also people in the music industry as Muse Panic At The Disco + many more bands are shown on the front cover. Also at the bottom on the front spread there is many things being said “new music”.
